Getting started

Getting started

Create a code, test it, then add a webhook.

Create a code

  1. Sign in and open New QR code.
  2. Pick a type and fill in the content.
  3. Save. The code's page has the image, the short link and its scans.

You can try this without an account. A demo workspace is created for you, and signing up keeps what you made in it. Demo workspaces can't add webhooks.

Download it

Use Download on the code's page. PNG works for screens and SVG for print, because it scales to any size.

Test a scan

Scan it with a phone. A scan from curl or a link preview isn't counted, so testing with those leaves the count at zero.

On Pro, reload the code's page to see the scan.

Change the destination

Open the code, choose Edit and save a new destination. The printed code doesn't change.

Print a sheet of codes

Select codes on the codes page and choose Print sheet. It opens a page with each code, its name and its link, in 2, 3 or 4 columns.

Duplicate a code

Duplicate in a code's More actions menu copies the content, styling, labels and UTM settings to a new code with its own short link. The password, expiry and webhooks aren't copied.

Limit who can use it

Password and expiry are on the Access tab when you create or edit a code:

  • A password shows a prompt before the destination. Only scans that pass it are recorded.
  • An expiry date makes the code show an "expired" page after that time.

Deactivating a code from the codes list shows a "no longer active" page instead.

Delete your account

Settings > Account deletes your account and the workspaces only you belong to. It's refused while a workspace you own has other members or an active plan.

Next: send scans to your server.
